EXHIBITS & INSTALLATIONS
Line & Wash + Wash & Line (2025)
A pair of comparative watercolor artworks currently exhibited at the Gaffney Visitor’s Center & Art Gallery as part of the Spring A’Comin: Spring Forward Try Something New Art Show presented by the Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA). These works of art are available to be viewed by the public for free during the operating hours of the Gaffney Visitor’s Center & Art Gallery (Mondays-Thursdays: 8:30am-5:00pm; Fridays: 8:30am-3:45pm; Closed on Weekends)
These two works are currently featured in the book, Comprehensive Watercolor – An Interactive Guide for Learning to Paint with Watercolor and offer a preview of the material as well as presentation style of the video series. The works of art will remain available for viewing until April 30, 2025. The exhibit played a definitive role in my decision to publish the book on May 1, 2025. This allows the opportunity to do a pre-sale and to connect with more viewers through the impact and outreach that my works of art may have on the public where it is currently on display.

Inside-Outside Even Outside the Box Art Show (2025)
Mandakyns will be participating in the exhibit with a beautiful series of articulating watercolor cube sculptures designed to move, engage with space and allow interaction with the viewer. The Show will be hosted by Cherokee Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) at Gaffney Visitor’s Center & Art Gallery located at 210 W. Frederick St. Gaffney, SC 29340
